StyleCaster’s introducing a fashion editorial feature of its own – exciting! And this first one, “Mood Indigo” (shot by Nicholas Routzen), is quite promising… check it out yourself! Here are a few of my favourite shots.

Love that necklace.

Sweet bra (Agent Provocateur, $180) and love those Miu Mius, of course!

Lady Gaga, anyone?

Ending with the traditional Americana-denim-patriotism note – nice. Hints of the 40s…

Very springish – some fall, too, if worked the right way. Ah, fall… so perfect… but I’ll definitely settle for summer (80 degrees today, yes!!)

See if you can spot what doesn’t (shouldn’t) belong:

Karlie Kloss, Lara Stone & Freja Beha : Vogue March 2010
Freja Beha Erichsen and Lara Stone.

Hint: they’re UGGly.

Why, Vogue, WHY? I cry in desperation. You have been my escape from the UGG- and American Eagle-clad hordes and here… oh, the disappointment.

These dresses are pure art, simple as that. And I love how they’re portrayed – the subdued hues, and dark lighting… Gorgeous editorial (Dazed // Feb 2010; Magdalena Frackowiak). View the entire breathtaking SS10 collection here.

I especially like that one, the pink and black. And the bow, of course.

Though I love this image – dramatic. And speaking of dramatic-art gowns, here’s one of my favourites from the collection:

Viktor & Rolf Spring 2010 Ready-to-Wear

Aminata Niaria. Love the colours, especially the contrast with Aminata’s skin (and the eyeshadow!)

Sorry for lack of posts for the past week… finals are upon me, which means I have basically no time. I’ve been running on about five hours of sleep for a week and a half… not good. That means I’ve been putting minimal effort into actually wearing clothes clothes, which means – rather unfortunately – no fun things to post.  😦

Vogue US // Jan ’10. (here)
Shot by Testino.

The second photo reminded me immediately of Phillipe Halsman’s portrait (one of many) of Marilyn Monroe…

Happy Saturday
