So today we went to get our christmas tree. Finally. After driving 20 minutes, we pulled up to the little side road place where we always get our tree. The sign said: “Closed. Out of Trees.” My dad’s reaction: “Closed? What the hell?”
Merry Christmas, boys and girls!
So we went to this other place and pulled up and didn’t see anyone, or that many trees. Four, to be exact. My dad: “Well, this’ll make the selection process easier.” One tree was shrublike, one was spindly, one was curved – “the scoliosis tree” – and the other one was puffy and smelled good, but had a sort of hole in the branches… “Not as a big as a hole as we’ll have with no tree.” So we got that one.
Nearly fell asleep reading The Idiot just now… I’m so tired. School tomorrow – why are we even going this week? Two days? Really? – and a few final, final christmas things to wrap up… haha… wrap up, get it? Then Christmas! FAVORITE SEASON OF THE YEAR!
Happy holidays all 🙂
