Ah, the sun’s out again, the sole cloud in the entire state having passed overhead and dropped the temperature from a balmy 82 to 70 in a matter of minutes. The day was blissful, even if I didn’t run and even though I did spend an hour of it painting (no, not even painting, just priming) the front porch rails and sidings and spindles… they call me the Spindle Queen. Laying on a gently rocking boat, feeling the hot sun beat on your back (fruitlessly, as you’ve remember to apply double layers of SPF-70 today!), letting the lakey breeze drift over you… my idea of heaven, pretty much. Or one of them.
Also, I’ve decided to take the [monetary] plunge and buy an SLR – a Nikon D60, to be precise – accompanied by a (Nikon) 18-70mm… so the bank will suffer, but my trigger finger will be satisfied 🙂

Phoooaawwrr, what is about being in the sun for hours on end that just exhausts you? It’s a very pleasant sort of exhaustion, though, not like you’ve been up since 6 a.m. writing a term paper or what have you.
NOTE: I love Ann Arbor. 🙂
