…and I’m not talking about how many editors and other runway show attendees were constantly sending updates – err, sorry, Tweets (she said with a hint of disgust) – for a month straight.
No, I’m referring to the ridiculous amount of media attention Twitter’s getting for this. Hundreds and hundreds of blog entries by everyone from random fashionistas (moi!) to fashion editors to bona fide fashion bloggers. The Business of Fashion:
“But when it comes to covering and commenting on the collections, one trend stands out. This time around, we came closer than ever to capturing and transmitting the real experience and energy of the shows thanks to fashion’s growing love affair with Twitter.“
Fashionista: “Fun, and certainly effective for spilling your thoughts onto Twitter in mere minutes.”
Other headliners (limited to 140 characters, of course) include TheMoment blog, WWD, Style.com… the list goes on and on.
Well, I’ve become a hypocrite of sorts, as I’ve been tricked into posting about people posting about Twitter. Damn.
Oh, cool coat via… umm… Streetpeeper, je pense? jnsp (Je ne sais pas, the French equivalent to idk).
