Calvin Klein had a sort of sexy minimalism look that played with textures and surfaces… while it stuck mainly to black and white (!), there were two bright, almost chartruse dresses near the end of the show.
Sleek, shiny, and sexy.
Almost a bandage dress, but not quite… and I like the shoe!
Playing with shapes, love it.
I can’t get over this pattern – it’s like a shiny fishy giraffe thing.
…and here we have another one-armed look…
Ah, colour! Those shoes are… whee! (That’s a, um, technical term…)
One-shouldered… I like this better than the one-armed look, it’s more balanced.
A pretty good collection, I thought… even though personally I like more colour, it was nicely sophisticated.
Zac Posen, revolutionary king of everything fashion, really put on a show at NYFW. While some would say most of his pieces were unwearable and over-the-top, I think they’re just pretty.
Love the colour… it seems that the fishtail ruffle at the bottom and a one-arm top are two of the top 80’s-inspired trends of the season. Hmm.
Bright red gown, possibly red-carpet worthy… I really love this, even if it is a bit extravagant.
Jourdan Dunn in a very… arsty dress. Definitely more art than dress, that’s for sure.
Love this one – nice colour & the shoulders/neckline… and the sparkles…
I love how the neckline is a mix of shoulders and drapey and 80’s.
Great shoes, and the coat is… interesting…
So yeah – while they might not be the most wearable, they’re still great.
