I am so, so, so tired. Going to bed no earlier than 11:30 for a week straight is not strictly beneficial… in any way… especially when you spend it looking at style blogs instead of studying for the chem test you definitely did not ace on Friday, second hour…  :(

I’ve had Zanzibar (Billy Joel) on replay for two days… it’s irresistibly catchy and good… That’s the trouble with so much modern music: it just doesn’t require much technical skill, particularly in reference to guitar and voice, though guitar more so. But I digress (which is actually an inappropriate use of the word ‘digress,’ but whatever. My thumb hurts).

taghrid. Seems sort of frenchy ballerina-esque… I love the silhouette of the [suede vint] skirt with the bodysuit.

stylesightings. Loving the cloak and bag… I’ve been playing around with the idea of capes and cloaks and whatnot for fall and winter… I need to make some happen.

the sart. Love the grey heels and that style of coat – though I’m fairly sure I’d look really weird in one, green, grey, or otherwise.

So I finally, finally ran what I should run during a race – 23:21. Actually still a little slower than I’d hoped, but hey, it’s a 40-second PR and I’ll take it. The weather: warmer than expected (low 60s), but doused with the usual rain and wind. Great race  :)
