I don’t care if Karl himself made them and presented them to me – anyone – these are NOT OK for anyone except… well, no one. Even on the runway it looks ridiculous – which is hard to find, if you have an open [fashion] mind. But these could not – and SHOULD NOT – [...]

Ugh. It’s reached that unbearable point in December – the wind is howling around outside at about 50 mph, creaking my windows and whipping the last few desperately clinging leaves off the trees. All throughout today, it’s been alternating between a disgusting slushy rain and icy flakes that have yet to stick to the ground [...]

Never did a post on MaxMara SS 2010… actually, I think I eventually gave up on trying to keep up with FW…

I don’t care if they are Chanel and if Karl did put them on that runway, I do not endorse clogs of any sort. Even these.

Maybe it’s just me, but clogs are synonymous with out-of-the-loop seventh graders in, say, 2001. I just don’t like them.

Sorry I haven’t posted in forever… I’ve been so busy… and actually, I should be doing calc and abs right now. But whatever. It’s raining and I have a truffle.

Fall’s in full swing now: the leaves are rapidly changing, the temperatures range from 28 to 65 in a mere 12 hours, the sunset is earlier, our football team has lost all of its games thus far (as is expected), and homecoming has come and gone. (Whatever happened to me making my dress, you may [...]

The first time I ever caught wind of Kinder Aggugigi was on FabSugar about 25 minutes ago. I saw this photo -

- and was instantly reminded of Galliano’s Spring line last year (with his outrageous, 1800s-esque hats in greens and blues), and so I scrolled down and watched the runway video for a minute. A [...]

So Phillip Lim was just going to be mushed in with a couple other designers, but then I started and I was like… I like this. I like this a LOT. So he gets his own post  :)
3.1 Phillip Lim: the details make the difference. Crazy gold necklaces & bracelets, silk ties on the backs [...]

Loose, minimal, and bright, Matthew Ames‘ Spring collection is very nearly the epitome of sporty chic without overdoing it. You don’t see any heeled sneakers or tennis skirts, but the clean-cut lines and basic designs definitely reflect athleticism.

Viviane Orth. (OK, so maybe this could count as a tennis skirt. But… oh well. [...]

I did a post about Willow’s amazing thigh-high laceup boots a while ago, which got me thinking about Willow, which made me super excited for their Spring collection. And I’m not disappointed in the least! Great shapes, patterns, texture…

Probably my favourite look from this season.

The top reminds me of MJ a bit (his velvet, jewel-hued [...]
