Evidently, running 3.5 miles (slowly with your mom in the morning) and biking 10 is not all that conducive to a good workout. Agh. We do this thing called Peach Mtns, where we run up and down a 400m “mountain” (a steep hill). Needless to say, it is not fun and kills your quads and glutes. It’s also particularly unenjoyable when your quads and glutes are already shot upon arrival (1.5 miles away from the actual hill) from running, biking, and tube-surfing the previous day.
